Trauma patients generally need the extra blood to receive in their body. Among the trauma patients, cancer patients actually receive most of the blood for their treatments. Otherwise the accident patients also need bloods if they loss in severe injury. In reality, most of the donated blood goes in the blood bank for those trauma patients.

After donating a unit of blood, it will not cause any blood deficiency. A unit of blood volume will be revived within 48 hours in your body from the time of donation.
